    EICL Hard Runway

    by chap20277 » Thu Apr 09, 2009 11:02 am

Just a note to inform everyone that from the 20th April EICL will be closed to all traffic as we are starting construction of the tarmac runway. It will take about 1 month to complete. Survey work is currently being carried out so please ensure no-one is working on the runway if you plan on landing before commencement date of the 20th!!! As always EICL is PPR and contact details can be found in Kevin Glynn's book or pm me.

    Lads,

Slight change in plan to the runway project. put on hold for a few weeks to tie up a few unforeseeable loose ends. hopefully will be starting in the next few weeks.

    Hi Iain

Will this push back the Teddyfield fly-in?

Cheers & best of luck with the runway

Is the tarmac replacing the grass runway or will there be grass runway still?

After talking with Paul he will probably put Teddyfield back til later in the year, i'll let him confirm that, and yes the tarmac will replace the grass.

I see the AIC now has EICL in as Bituminous. Will be nice to pay it a visit, should be easier to find too!

Its still grass and will be for quite some time. Unexpected legal issues are holding the new runway up
