July 02 - Tain Gala, Galway?
Pretty sure that's a misprint on their website. I suspect it's Galloway not Galway. No such place as Tain in Galway. Might be interesting on the day though when they turn up over Tuam looking for the Gala. :D

Don't forget they are also down for the Northern Ireland Airshow in Portrush in September too.
It only takes two things to fly:--- airspeed and money.

I hope to go along to this. One of my earliest memories is of them flying over my home whilst enroute to an airshow.........back then they flew the Gnat. Seen them loads of times since :)

Heading down to Galway Friday evening to see the Arrows on Saturday :D

    Anyone else going?
So Red Arrows @ 12:00 Noon.

Also is the Typhoon still confirmed? (I see its still on the Typhoon calendar)

Any idea of display times for the Typhoon? Its not on the official Galway event guide, probably a late entry.

There is also a practise maybe on the Friday evening???

If you are flying near Galway for the next couple of weeks, check the NOTAMS on the IAA site.
Obvious restrictions when the Red arrows are around (TRA or is it now RAT or RTA?) and also at various times covering all of Galway Bay out to the Arann Islands when boats are racing, presumably for film helicopters etc.

Not in Galway on Saturday but further down the coast in Clare: anyone know the routing for the Reds, are they likely to be refuelling in Shannon?
