I was trying to organise to go out to Dubai (for the golf) and maybe go to this too, it never happened though. Might be going around easter though (again) 8)

think there were as many airplanes is Abbeyshrule yesterday using the Inny River as there were the Runway!


And you didnt need PPR!!!!!!

Just thought I would bring Willo's comment from the start of the year back into play. The last few days seems to have brought people out again. The FII forum set a record for the most users ever online of '69' on Fri 18th April 10:24.
It only takes two things to fly:--- airspeed and money.

That was for 2008! :oops:

In saying that hits on the website are up about 20% on last year so it's not all bad. And judging from the turnout in Birr a few weeks ago, I'm sure this will be a good flying year.
