Flightwise

Post by Speed Alive! »

Are there any PPL holders flying in Flightwise who would be up for PIC and Co-pilot flying in the Grob or Fox Mike during the summer months?

I'd be interested throughout the summer also.
Especially trips to the UK.

€180 p/h was the rate Brain gave me.
It's not cheap but between 3/4 people sharing it,
There surely would be a nice few trips

Can anyone tell me if Flightwise have a Katana? I remember talk a while back about a DA20 and Flightwise but cant remember if they were only looking at it instead of purchasing..

And what are they like for hires if youve never trained with them? Do you have to have a min of 5hrs dual like NFC before they let you near it?

Negative EI6265,

Flightwise never had a DA20.

However, This time two years ago the owner was looking at buying a DA40,
But unfortunatly it never happened as he sold the club to Brian a while afterwards.
Brian has recently bought a nice C172N. It's about 30 years old but goes and looks like it's new :D

So flightwise have the Grob G115 (EI-CAD)
and a Cessna 172N (EI-OFM)

The NFC used to fly a DV20 in which i learned to fly for about 30 hours (EI-CLA), but not anymore, infact i think it's just sitting over in the NFC hanger without an engine.

Thanks for the info Michael. I thought it might have been a DA40/42 alright... shame really, would love to have been able to hire one in Dublin.
