Near miss at EIDW???? 17TH DEC

Some people on other sites are saying a Helicopter passing over the Active at EIDW had a near miss with a lear, anybody have nay info on this or is someone telling porkies?

Well i guess he means pprune, but who cares what other sites......
The point is the incident ! and yes it did happen.
I leave the microsoft experts to do the analysis of it all.

it does'nt take a microsoft jockto deduce it was a bad incursion.....the centre line of 28/10 is a very busy one. New tracks and holding points for heli's I'd say might be in the pipe line.

Can anyone report what actually happened?

From Bearcat's post it sounds like a heli asked to hold position, continued across the runway....is that what happened?

I wasnt being thick i was merely applying the .ie as i had forgotten to do it at the start, sorry.

The event did happen and the Lear pilot was extremely ticked off! The chopper was cleared to cross after the departing, read this back correctly but then did otherwise.
