The plane came down in mild weather in County Down
Two people have been injured after a small aircraft crashed in a field in County Down.
The plane came down in a valley a few miles outside Kilkeel at about 1500 GMT on Friday.

A police spokeswoman said she believed the injuries of those involved are not life-threatening.

Councillor Henry Riley said it was a mystery as to why the aircraft had crashed. "The weather conditions were fine, there was absolutely no wind."

It is understood the pilot of the plane was a local businessman.

Mr Riley said he was a very experienced pilot.

"He has been flying for 30 or 40 years maybe. He would be well regarded for his aeronautical skills," he said.

Thank God both Pilots are OK, Please God they will make make a speedy recovery, the pilot is a Gentleman and is based in one of the most welcoming and friendliest airfields in the country.
My heart always sinks when I hear of such news.
