Wanted: Accommodation near Shannon Airport

Looking for accommodation for me and 1 other. We are working for Air Atlanta Aero Engineering form 21st of May till the 13th of July.
Has to be within 10 miles of the airport.

Daft want a minimum contract of 6 months. I only need 8 weeks and nobody will take me.
I ll visit Shannon again on Wednesday and have a good look around.

Go into the nearest pub and ask if there is any digs locally. its a start till you find something better . you will probably be in with construction workers. It'll be cheaper than B&B or hotel. That is unless you are tooooooo posh

That sounds good. I don't think I'll be winning any awards for being posh. I do live in really bad student accommodation in Carlow. Anything would beat that. Our hoover went missing 2 months ago and I'm the only person who realised it was gone!

That usually means loosing the deposit which is usually 1 months rent.

Well I've done twice now and got my deposit back, normally if you give a months notice you'll get it back without any problems, half the places don't bother with leases anyway.

You might want to try LIT's student villages they're rent is something like 35 quid a week over the summer. There's Thomond village and Cratloe Wood they're nice place kind of like Carraige Abhainn, more security though. If your staying in Limerick you'll need a car though to get in and out but sure if one of you has one your sorted.

A big thanks for all the help.
Accommodation is sorted.
I got a place next to the VOR for 85 Euro a week. Its a little apartment next to a guest house. Double bedroom with ensuite. Its a bit costly but the location is perfect. Can even see the runway from my bedroom, what more could one want?

ha you'l need a set of ear plugs,not nice being woken at all hours during the night with planes taking off,its quite annoying
