Hey guys does anyone know the details relating to the club fees and requirements for joining?? I am not a garda but do have family members who are and was hoping maybe this was enough in order to be eligible to join the club. Any details appreciated.

Don't really know a lot about the requirements myself but I found this contact on the IAA website:

Name: Garda Aviation Flying Club Ltd.
Contact: Mr Tom Gale
Telephone: 086 230 9745

Maybe this can help.

Hi FLYbyWIT,

I've heard that the Garda Aviation Club has merged with the Trim Flying Club recently. There's no details on their website (http://www.trimflyingclub.com/) but Trim FC have recently bought EI-STT, the ex. Garda Club C172.

Hope this helps,

Mark

You never had to be a 'member' to be a member anyway. I never did understand why they didn't paint their aircraft white with a yellow stripe down the side. Oh and blue strobes

That is correct, the Garda club does not exist anymore. It was merged into the Trim Flying club earlier this year.
