How about ?revising? the rat-bag flea market of self-serving bureaucracies and government-sanctioned stalls peddling the freedoms, territory and legislative apparatus of this state to any likely ?player? with access to a bottomless hoard of unquestioned cash?
Apart from the merchant banks, there?s obviously nobody in charge.
So why don?t we mandate ourselves as ?aviation authorities? on an individual basis?
We?re left to our own devises to scrape aeronautical info from an idiotically clunky website and carry a national VFR chart that hasn?t been updated for years.
Why don?t we go the whole hog and jot out our own licences and rulebooks?
We could charge ourselves 50p for the rubber stamp and ?administration? overheads.
It would put a whole new meaning to Joint Aviation Authorities!
(Licence No.1 - Aviation Authority No.501)
Apparently, some big knob with two golf courses for a back yard owns OUR telephone poles?so they?ll be first for the chop? but we?ll need those trees for stringin? up the rest of the bourgeoisie.
Anarchy is great once it?s properly organised ? I?ve got the chain oil and two stroke, you bring the saw.
We?ll raise the black flag over Hawkins House
You may all now use this thread to moan ,squeal ,stab in the back, and get real snotty about all things aviation including flying fish
My first beef is the taxes and the exhorbitant costs in volved with flight training ,
so heres a huge dose of hemmaroids to Berty for not giving GA a fair opportunity to establish at Finner and Gormanston.
Boils and many suppurations to Geo Bush for screwing up the oil and fuel prices and not feeding the Peace dog
Watch out J.M. for putting up landing and touch and go charges .
Big blackheads behind the ears
May your temerity always surprise and amaze you
Every redundant political ?Clingon? in the country will be scrambling for the photo-op of being first to wrap the padlocks and chains around the gates of Weston.
Meanwhile?on the literally hundreds of unguarded coves and harbours around the coast ? the junk keeps rolling in.

Terry , sounds like your looking forward to it
[quote;RV Blue]I'm wondering what the ramp at Weston was like during the Ryder Cup. I'm sure Dublin airport took the vast majority of the pack, as Signiture Flight Services are there. Anybody know...??
runway 11/29 was out of action at dublin for the duration of the ryder cup, it was more like millionaires row than a runway. weston was strictly PPR ,anyone with an aircraft based at weston ,how did it effect you?

My lawyer is so good, they named a loop hole after him
Anyhow, of course it was in fun, isnt that what it's all about.
