G reg maint in ireland

(a)what are the options and who are the contacts re servicing G reg GA aircraft in Ireland?
(b) is it cheaper/ better to get the work done Northern Ire?

Shamrock Aviation based at Waterford Airport are approved for G registered aircraft. The owner is Keith Furnell. I don't have their phone number but directory enquiries should be able to help you.

so waterford is the place to go....i hear some people fly over to haverfordwest in wales to get maint done. to me an aircraft out of the hangar is at its most dangerous and the thoughts of flying 30 mins over water amazes me post a check. thanks. what about up north?

If you look at Part III Art 12 (8) of the UK Air Navigation Order you will see that certain pivileges to work on and sign out G-Reg aircraft up to 2,730 kgs are now automatically at the disposal of Irish Engineers
