Weather Website... one new to me

Post by aidanmurphy »

While doing some random surfing recently, I came accross a (new to me) weather site: http://www.weatherworld.info

I beleive it is an an Irish owned website, being operated from Co. Mayo.

So far, the detail and layout have certainly grabbed my attention.
Needless to say, I have it bookmarked and tend to use it frequently.

Regards,

Aidan.

You can arrange to have TAFs and METARs by text through this site:

http://www.wxsupport.com

There is a small cost, but if, say, a club or group were to subscribe you can set up any number of users on one account.

You can also get a copy of each users 'history' from the website - just in case you need to prove anything afterwards!

Very useful facility.

If you have a GPRS equipped mobile phone use Avbrief for TAFs and METARs - all free

Here's the address to enter into your mobile for a Dublin METAR. You can choose other airports from there.

printing out (up to) 132 hour surface charts saves cash on the auld fax machine anyway.
