Best of luck with the website guys - however not including. VAT in the display price is a pain in the neck (you've gotta click on the item)... not good page design.

Keep it simple lads... list the full price (incl VAT).

Ditto Microheavy; it's about time. Transair are great and all, but the P&P always kills me.

    P&P VAT

    by pestfromthewest » Tue Oct 25, 2005 6:44 pm

    Hi,

It takes time to get a web site right, and I guess we still have some work to do. Adding VAT is a pain, the shopping cart software was supposed to do it automatically but ... it will now be a huge job going back over every item and adding 21% (there would also be the added problem of reviewing/changing prices at budget time as well).

As for the P&P. This is a difficult one to get right and I am open to suggestions! The original setting meant that I lost of every transaction :( and the latest one penalised the customer. Now I am trying to get something reasonable and I was thinking of a ?10 handling fee with the option of adding additional postage if it went over ?5 (say).

    groundschool

    by pestfromthewest » Tue Oct 25, 2005 6:48 pm

    Hello Again,

A quick note to let you know that there is a special offer for groundschool materials with discounts ranging from 10% through to 30% as well as a more reasonable P&P charge (thanks to your feedback). If your school uses materials that are not covered by our discount, send me an e-mail and I will try to do something for you.

Also, in December we will be offering discounts on all Transair manufactured products.
