Just looking for some tips for flying over Dublin city coming from the North/West. Looking at the visual chart in the AIP I assume the route would be to overly Weston then DCT Heuston DCT Pigeon House DCT Killiney and could then come back the opposite way. That is what I am getting from the AIP Visual Chart for Dublin - http://iaip.iaa.ie/iaip/Published%20Fil ... -44_EN.pdf
I am just wondering, is this flown at 1500ft to avoid the circuit at Weston and then the EIP11? Also who would you expect to be talking to along the way? I assume FIS then approaching Weston, then speak to EIWT twr then Dub approach/twr along the liffey to the Pigeon house?
I know ATC will obviously instruct on all this along the way but just trying to get an idea of it in my head in advance to be well prepared. Also if anyone has any particylar tios for that route it would be appreciated!
