Re: AFC or NFC

No experience with AFC, but am with NFC at the minute. As with most people and their school, am very happy with school, instructors and course. Doing the ATPLs at the minute, and slotting in a few hours here and there. Home study with NFC, whereas I think AFC have a classroom option for their ATPL c...

Flew there from Weston a few months ago. Grand trip, got a bit confusticated when asked "What service would you like?", but the info given in post 2 goes into all of this. ('Twas only a FIS I needed anyway...) I think it was Manx Flyers that took care of the handling, no hastles at all. On...

Have to second what j3 has said, disgusting and very sad. Not sure I can add much more, other than a rant against scumbags.

You're welcome for the earlier reply Terry, thank for pointing out that PTC are *not* an integrated school vanman. vanman also makes a good point about starting a PPL while you're still working. Most modulars (me included) started out that way, means you can advance with a stage of your training, le...

Hey Terry Ever consider doing the training full time in Ireland? I know we don't have a (based) integrated school here (PTC do their flying in the US - not sure if they're doing all of it or still just PPL there), but integrated is kind of a tag really. A bit of a generalisation there... as their tr...

Ditto what everyone has said so far. I think the average hrs for an Irish PPL is about 100, some have more, some have less. With the weather and what not, it's probably not fair to compare the hours of an Irish PPL to a Florida type PPL. You're well under that, so don't even think about it. (I know ...

Number of questions per ATPL exam?

Hi I was wondering if anyone can confirm how many questions are contained in each ATPL exam paper, and if the questions in those papers are assigned a single mark or more than one mark each? E.g. for Mass and Balance, there are 22 questions and some of those questions have variable marks (2 or 3 rat...

ATPL TK exam timetable

Hi

Although the dates for the ATPLs are well listed on the IAA website, they don't show what days and times the individual exams are on. Can anyone tell me what order they go in, or if this is fixed? Do they always go in the same A, B, C order, or if they change them around?

Thanks
