at a fly in there many years ago, about 12 aircraft, bbq going, great fun all of a sudden he threw a wobbler turfed us all out and shut the field down for a week.

ive just heard king turned down an offer of 2 mil + for that land 6 months ago. that offer was made by the 2 chaps that had made the previous 2 or 3 offers and had plans to open it up again as a airfield. agree with v9 on price there is a 50 acre site on the coast not to far away that has been for s...

Might be a little more to consider, You will probally need an outdoor events licence issued by the local Co Council.(same as planning permission) The Red Arrows will cost you in excess of ?25,000 sterling plus insurances. You will be required to put in place some sort of ATC and a TRA. Best of luck SF

150% rise in Parking and Landing fees!!

That sort of price fixing will drive GA out.

Heard someone got a quote of 10,000 euro pa to hangar a piston heli. :shock:

Any news as to when PH are due to take over or has it happened already,did i also hear a Cat 2 ILS is on the cards.

T.Ryans Jet aswell as Mercury Eng new toy and a Lear 45 all enroute.

Who has the 45 then??????

Best bit of advice i was given for my ATPL was Oxford in the UK.
I went the modular route in 15 months and got my right seat thanks to OAT.
