Hi BKA, I've been using the airnav radarbox in Athlone for over a year now, I also have it connected to an outdoor antenna on the roof of the house, I can get a coverage of almost 500miles radius, with up to 75 planes at ony one time.

My "idea" is that you're fired if your boss reads this, tut, tut, tut, plane spotting when you should be at your desk working, that is of course, unless your desk is in a classroom, in which case, you're going to get detention for not concentrating in class!!!!!

After his go-around he climed to 4750feet, turned east on a track which seemed to me, was bringing him back for a second approach, but about 15 miles east of the airport, he turned south, climed to 8000feet and diverted to Shannon, where he landed at 10:45AM

He has just made an approach for landing at 10:15AM and has made a go-around from 1500feet.

I've been watching a BMI 737 doing orbits just to the East of Knock at 8000 feet this morning on my Airnav Radar, so far he's flown 6, anyone know why? Flight Number : BMI19W. Reg : G-TOYC

Unfortunatly the Airbus only did two flypasts and both were pretty far away, most people seemed a bit dissapointed as they appeared to be leaving in droves after the Airbus pulled skyward ...
