Anyone got a Narco MK12-D TSO to sell?

Hi,
Need a Narco MK12-D TSO to replace a broken unit. Will gladly collect & pay.
They are the kind of thing people revel in pulling out of airplane panels, but one man's junk is another man's treasure...

Re: Kerry Flyin 2012 is on July 28th and 29th

Missing entry from both guides is the fence at the 33 threshold has been removed.

Think the fence change is much newer than any flight guide....
One less fence for me to clip ha ha....

Re: Ireland trip

I'd be very cautious to put a tourist from Germany down that "road" in a SR22. Its narrow and I mean really narrow, with very undulating ground to park on. It's just like that one up in Carrigart, which is doable but not advisable. The other problem with that place you mentioned is wing clearance of...

Re: 24hr PPR in EIKN

Pilot - No reply from the marketing manager as of yet, and no missed calls. They have all my details as I have a landing card etc. While some may find them friendly at certain level, I must say that ATC in there today were not that happy to accept us as IFR traffic/in IMC with their scheduled flight...

Re: Customs/Immigration, Fuel

On those two topic's all I can say : Customs. The Irish GAR form just has to be faxed in to the number on the top of it 12 hours in Advance. There is an email option too, send it to KDEnforce@revenue.ie and if they want you then believe it - they'll get you. Prior notice all that you really need, an...

Re: Ireland trip

Philipp - Thanks for buying a copy of the book. Great content, but not all of it suitable for an SR22. There are lots of places where I've seen them operate that were 500-600m grass airstrips so if you have the right ground conditions then game on. You can still do a pretty comprehensive tour of the...

Re: 24hr PPR in EIKN

Waterford, Shannon, Cork, Kerry, Donegal all pretty good, and I've nothing bad to say about the rest of them either. No particular bone to pick with EIKN by the way. They are mostly friendly in that airporty-overstaffed-officialdom bubbly sort of way. Yes PPR is good, but at a private airport . What...

Re: 24hr PPR in EIKN

I've already put a call in to the EIKN marketing department to question how they intend to market the airport to GA if we must give 24hrs notice? The word back will be posted.

24hr PPR in EIKN

Not saying they are a bad bunch, but on Tuesday had an ATC read out the AIP to me in chapter and verse on the radio advising me that Connaught West Airport is 24hrs PPR for all flights . Seems like a hit or miss implementation, as most other times it's never been an issue. But just so it comes as no...

Re: building experience in Ireland

Think most maintenance places take people on for building experience even if they never advertise it. If you seem like a handy chap and are no load to carry then there are always lots of tasks to be done around the hangar. Try them all, offer a no strings day and see how it goes. Can't see it being ...

Re: Skydemon Mobile GPS - any advice?

Skydemon on the iPad is really good, but if I was using it as my primary I'd need to have an external gps aerial. Perhaps not so easy to use on a bad day, and when flying on a long trip recently I had the 495/iPad/695 all on the go. I wouldn't give a damn for the 695, its too fidly and the software ...

Jeez if it was €1.60 inc "the IMF taxes" I'd wear out the RWY in Sligo myself.... Nope I'm afraid that's their best price Tiny! 8)
