Re: Support Erinagh Airfield

I hope Aopa ireland are all over this. Now it is time to see what they are made of. If this was the states Aopa USA would have a finely tuned, highly effective response aimed at the decision makers and PR aimed at the local press- I hope the same happens here. Of course we are on top of it! The situ...

Re: qualifing cross country

I chose a stretch from Weston to Sligo as my first leg as i was taught back then that, the longer the flight the greater the lesson learned! and Boy was it true! But as stated, you will love Shannon. Friendly, affordable landing, Welcoming and ever so helpful. It is as if the staff were hand-picked....

Re: Galway 'Event'.

Many are happy to remain cynics where Galway are concerned! Especially those GA folk that were "Stung" in the past! (Me included 3 times!) I love Galway - minus Carnmore! Passenger numbers down Monetary turnover at the airport also slumped by almost 30% I will be bringing my eleven px to Galway this...

Re: Galway 'Event'.

Sorry! Just my bad devil  been bitten  down cash :( sort of attitude :!: On the other hand they may be genuinely making an effort to regain some support from the GA relationship, which was badly damaged over the last years. If it is that, I for one applaud them! But personally!...

Re: skywatch civil air patrol

Is there anyone here with any sort of SAR (land/sea/air) background with any opinions?? David I believe Jim has a lot of experience in SAR from both his Military background and his time with Atlantique. But, he is presently unavailable to comment himself because of family illness. Also, anyone with...

Re: IAA Survey

Personally, i feel the IAA are checking up on the "Casual Flyers" I do not believe this survey will alter any IAA info system. To me it looks like it is nothing more than a "Coy" to give an impression of "genuine interest" in the GA. They presently cannot be bothered to answer mails, answer phones o...
