The ctc wings scheme looks like a fair and good way to "earn your wings"..\
Anyone done it or applied for it??

Yeah,i reckon id like the IAC anyway coz im in the reserves so i know id like the military part of it..as for the flying,whats not to like..

Thanks for the advice,really helpful..
I'll apply for the air corps anyway and if i get in,i'll have a solid and enjoyable career while training for the atpl and a possible future airline career somewhere down the line..

Just wondering if any pilots out there have any advice on becoming a pilot?I'm 17 y.o. and going into 6th year..
Cant decide whether the air corps or airlines are better as a career..

Do many air corps pilots go on to become airline pilots?
Do airlines look favourably upon former air corps pilots?
Is the air corps a good way to gain a career as a airline pilot in later life?

Yeah,i heard that the rdf helps to get into the air corps. Ive pretty much always wanted to be a pilot,ever since i was on the flight deck of an Air Canada B747-400 flying over Greenland when i was a kid. I took a lesson at weston a week ago and i LOVED it,definitely want to be a pilot..do you know ...
