Re: Tecnams

Great little planes. No technical issues that we are aware of. Not with the microlight versions anyway. Flew a low wing Technam from Madrid to Lisbon and back. Loved it

Re: National Microlight Association of Ireland (NMAI)

Hi Mark I was quite surprised that NMAI suddenly became the subject of an unwarranted attack by someone hiding behind a made up name, and with only their second post. I’m replying here, not to try to justify the NMAI in any way, but merely because the question was asked. COSTS Membership €70 per ann...

Re: Landing Fees

I've just got one question,(other than the one in a previous post which was not answered and referred to information which is misleading). Why does AOPA always react to criticism in a defensive and aggressive manner? Especially on a public forum it really doesn't look good and could be seen as a sig...

Re: Landing Fees

Interesting thread. Hi Jim. You might enlighten us as to what difficulties may be coming down the line for stand alone microlight licence holders. I also attend many EU meetings, EASA workshops etc and we're not aware of any licencing difficulties, other than what we have, in the future for our memb...

It's not often we get to do this. Thanks to John Steel and Tony Harkin for the permissions. Great weather last Thursday too.

Re: AAIU - Proposed Legislation - Air Sports

I'm not sure why there is so much criticism on here levelled at NACI which I believe is completely unwarranted. For the record. NACI is a representative body for it's members and not an Airsport in it's own right. NACI, to date, has not been notified by any of it's affilliated members that they have...
