While I agree with xacto and the link he posted makes sense to me. I think you guys should actually call the IAA yourselves, to clarify, theres no point in spending 100s/1000s of euro on flying which may not be used towards your licence (although del is right aswell, that it will count in other ways...

well missed it on the sunday, but was down flying on the saturday, got some hovering in over by the blackhawk :D (we need a drool smily)

and seen that yellow plane (what was that?? ) doing stunts over salthill then over oranmore/airport, very cool.

Flew into abbeyshrule for the 1st time on saturday, (well didnt so much fly in as done a fly pass over the runway).

Nice little airport though, seemed like a lot of activity going on there, look foward to going back again when I do my cross country.

Just seen one over the town today, heading in a southerly direction.

Seemed white with an orange (maybe brown) marking on the rear fuselage.

Anyone know anything about it?

Got that leaflet in the post aswell, everytime Im down there, there seems to be some development going on or been done.
