It kinda looks like a helicopter landed on a learjet and a speed boat crashed into its back (dont laugh, Ive seen it happen) possibly, it may have been a dream :D

But its definatley different, would like to see it flying.

Does anyone know if theres any civil flying allowed on the sunday?

Im booked in for 2hrs on that day, 12-3

no biggy if there isnt anyway, ill just change the date, but if I headin there, would be good to get some time in before the show.

Sh*t, just realised im booked in for 2hrs on the same date as the salthill airshow (thought it was july), anyone know if normal flights continue or is everything off limits?

I did it at Garden Hill in Sligo, I remember thinking it was cheaper than I expected so I was delighted, more money, more hours. :D

Where im training its costing 300 per/hr so if you say 45 hrs (which I dont expect to do it in, but this is the minimum) thats ?13,500, factor in a class 2 medical (say about ?100), books and ground school around ?500 for G/S (cant remember the books cost). And the ground exams, not sure on there pr...

true, was gonna go to bank anyway, just thought id see about aviation ones, they might be more friendly when it comes to handing over the money.
