Private Jets in Shannon

Does anyone know why all the Executive Jets are in Shannon? There are eight altogether. The four at West Air are all N reg. Not sure of the others.

Ok its been nearly 2 months now and my Class 1 certificate has finally arrived. Apparently the eye test results were lost in between the IAA and Mater. Hope thats the only hiccup in my training. :)

Hi Shrtfld,

I used this link below:

http://www.flyinginireland.com/simple_upload.php

Im afraid I took the picture from the LFC website, I saw the pic with the twin on the ground but wasnt sure if it was taken at Coonagh.

Rumour has it that there may be a twin in Coonagh soon. Hope I can get a pic of it and will post when I can.

Hi Colm

I took the photo on the 29th May, after a fly out to EISG. We were lucky, we were the first ship back and just got in before a heavy shower. You were there soon after we landed.

If you get a CAA licence in the US is there any problem transfering it to an IAA Licence?? Or are there any potential problems operating EI reg aircraft with a UK licence?

I have to admit it was very daunting, a special Thank You to the wonderful nurses who were in charge of the various tests in the Mater Private. They answered all my questions and calmed me down. I should also apologi...

Thanks Connor, I will give PTC a ring about their distance learning course. It would probably make sense to have the PPL theory out of the way before advancing. Walk before you run so to speak.

Hi guys,
Just wondering at what stage can you sit the ATPL exams? I want to go the commercial route but can only do it in stages for now. Can I sign up for a distance learning course while still doing my PPL?
