Hi Been, If you are going to the US for flight training you will have to sit the UK CAA exams. Unfortunatly on the island of Ireland you will have to go over the border to do these. I did my PPL in florida last year, there are 7 exams to do but get your study done here at home. Try and get your hand...

Brilliant program, it is great to see GA on the telly.

I thought Coonagh was the only place that Rallyes were used! I think I counted 8 Rallyes in a row. Mr Wright you will be interested to know that Rallyes BFP and BMJ are still in use in Coonagh.

Hey guys,

After touch down at 08.14 a msg was passed from the airport fire chief through Ground requesting the type of cargo.

"Reach 903" was carrying compressed Helium. Straight from the horses mouth so to speak.

Cessna Low on fuel off Irish Coast

Hi all,

While at work last Thursday night limericks 95FM was reporting that a Cessna was several hundred miles off the Irish coast and running low on fuel. It landed safely at Einn at 01.30.

Did anyone else hear about this or get any pictures in the morning??

Hi Colm,
I found their web page, here's the address http://www.phoenixflyingclub.com

If you call down to Coonagh there are a few PPLs who are in that club. The diesel engine in BPL is supposed to be a lot cheaper to run.
