I read it this evening. It's well worth a read. Much of the advice is generally applicable, and not specific to Norway. Well written too. Only one idiosyncracy: it consistently says "altitude" instead of "attitude" which is a bit confusing!

Thanks Pilot. In the end I stayed north of the danger area this morning, even though there was no activity posted in the NOTAM. But if I intend to enter or transit in the future, I will check the NOTAMs before departure and confirm with Dublin control when en-route.

Quick question: The AIP says "Activity by NOTAM". So if EID1 is not mentioned in the NOTAM, can I safely assume it's not active and that I can legally fly in that airspace? Or should I call someone to make sure?
