Near miss at EIDW???? 17TH DEC

Some people on other sites are saying a Helicopter passing over the Active at EIDW had a near miss with a lear, anybody have nay info on this or is someone telling porkies?

You would need to ask my father that to be honest but funding is the main issue as to why 2008 is cancelled.

And the Swiss AF had them as well, great performer in the Alps. AFAIK Still holds the world altitude record for a Helo. And the RNLAF Operate 4 as the Dutch Royal Family refuse to fly in any other Helicopter. Aslo the South African AF Use them in the CSAR Role and the Pakistan Navy still use them. ...

I agree with AL. We need to contact the organisers first to make sure that want us to fundraise, and to make sure that that is all that is required to get it back on the rails. As for where to get the money, the obvious choice would be the businesses in the area. Presumably the pubs, restaurants an...

Hi all it was down to lack of funding and the Anti war crowd played a part in stopping it also. If your going to do something then perhaps you go through the official lines first by contacting my father Brian McGrath etc etc. Also it is too late for anything for 2008 but 2009....? I dont want it to go

Nano i think you will find those colours are "Display" and ours are not "poxy grey". Grey is a standard Mil colour scheme.
