i was thinking that to get a bigger taste of training i could do my ppl in weston and if i am absolutly positive about pilot training i could go on to ptc.what do you think :)

Im going to get a little personal now. I am certain an airline pilot is the life for me and i think i will go to PTC to train but i was wondering if it would stupid of me to start training at a young age like 18 or should i hold off a while. The reason im worried about this is i dont know if i would...

If i do go to carlow which course would you reccommend (aircraft systems or Avionics) i would prefer the aircraft systems one. Is Carlow IT any good or what. :D

So buzz are you saying that there are no jobs after training and would it really be in your 30's when you would be likely to get a pilot job. So what does anybody reccommend my plan was maybe when i would be around 20 begin training in PTC and afterwards get a job with a small airline or something b...

Before you depress us all buzz :cry: i would like to ask the question of why do intergrated trained pilots get first preference by airlines cos at the end of the day all pilots are trained to the full extent when they are fully trained up.

How tough is the class 1 medical is it really tough and when they say they examine everything do they mean everything(if you know what i mean)
and is it worth my while getting a class one cos i didn't even start trainning but i do intend to go professional :mrgreen:

Can they train you up to as far that you can be a airline pilot at the end of it now i dont mean a type rating or mcc or anything i mean do they do MEP's because i dont recall seeing that they do anywere :? :?
