Forum Chat Box

Hi,

Not sure if this has been brought up already.

A chat box similar to facebook would be handy to talk to members online. Not sure how hard it would be to implement or if it would detract from posts being published but it would be a nice addition.

All the best,

Andy

Re: ATPL Oxford needed..

In fairness if anything is in soft copy it's almost certainly possible to download it for free once you look hard enough or get someone tech savvy enough to do it for you. I'm not saying it's right or wrong just that it's a free option if you take this route. Saying that your required to go through ...

Re: Enniskillen PPL

No worries Smithie, wanted to make sure you had looked at all your options. I can vouch for the other lads in saying that Enniskillen is a great spot. A relaxed, professional operation with very friendly folks and quality instruction. Plus they have an all day breakfast... weight and balance may bec...

Re: how many aircraft aer arann have ?

Don't believe what you read on wikepedia as anyone can make it up. Chances are it's right but it's far from official. As Pearse said, give them a call and get the exact figures, even have a poke around the website, they may have a recent financial/investor report with aircraft numbers. I did a colle...

Not sure about how many ATRs they have but they do have a few Islanders in their Aer Arann Islands operation.

Re: Enniskillen PPL

Hi Terry, I did my PPL(A) in Ireland and have flown out of Enniskillen a good bit. If I could do it again I'd defo go to Florida to get it done for a lot cheaper and a lot quicker. I was over there doing my JAA CPL recently and saw a lot of guys (inc about 3 Irish) do their JAA PPL (A) in 3/4 weeks....

Aircraft to rent?

Wondering if anyone has or knows of a cheap Group A fixed wing I could rent for 35hrs? Would be all X country time.

A dry rate on something small that sips fuel and around Leinster would be ideal!

Cheers,

Andy

Re: Canadian Aviation Academy

Fair play to your man's Dad going over to confront him!! Had to laugh when I read this. Cowboys like this give decent operators a bad name and to see that one of the guys had given up on flying but will still have that debt over his head for many years to come is shocking. Saying that this carry on ...

Re: Informing IAA about medical conditions

Hi Mixturerich, There should be some general notes on the back of your medical but nothing specific for particular medical conditions. In general if you have the need for regular use of medication then you would report it. Best bet is to get onto the IAA and have a chat with them. Have been looking ...
