Re: irish atc on strike

Pilot, I am very much with you on this. I have been into the majority of controlled airports over here flying GA and not once had a problem with ATC refusing me, or intimidating me into not using them. I've been through the Dub zone a good few times and again never had any issues, they were always a...

Re: Flying in Canada

Not a problem SP.

I rented from the school I was at in Moncton, a fair bit away from Montreal!

I don't know of any clubs in the Montreal area.

Re: Flying in Canada

Hi, I was in canada myself on CAA FCL. You need to get a "Foreign Licence Validation Certificate" issued by Transport Canada. With this you get the full privileges of your home licence for one full year. I would suggest you make contact with a Transport Canada office in Montreal before you head over...

Re: SEP

Not exactly a direct answer to your question but no school here or in the Uk will give you a definite time scale, as I'm sure you're aware it's all about ability and just because you think you'll be grand with two hours you may in fact not be and it may take the full five hours or even more to get u...

Re: SEP Revalidation

Re: Nationwide RTE 1 - Monday Jan 4th

I'll have to race home from work on Monday to see this! Myself and Michael747 have been down to Atlanticairventure a couple of times and they were one the nicest bunch of people I've come across in aviation. Highly recommended and look forward to seeing this show, although I usually steer clear of R...

www.radarvirtuel.com

Found this very nice little website this morning, possibly already mentioned somewhere on the forum but it's quite good combined with liveat.net. Real time radar tracking and comms together :D

I must be sad
