Hey Francie, I've finished my PPL with the NFC recently! I'm 26 and am starting the ATPLs next month! If I were you with the money sitting there, I go and get it quickly! In Ireland, if you fly weekly or even twice a week it'll take you a year! I know the maths don't add up, but you'll get the weath...

Have to say I'm with Buzz on that one!

They gotta make their money and most of them won't actually charge you for most of it! But fair is fair.... if you do an hour in a class with them expect to pay for it!

I did my ppl in the usual jeans and a hoody! Completely agree with being comfy and as relaxed as you can!

Just wanted to see everyones opinion as I've heard a good few differing ones over the years!

This is a question I have often wondered the answer to and I saw it on the NFC thread in the Student area today!

Should you wear a white shirt and black tie to a flight test? Even for the PPL?

Dollymount maybe? I've seen a Heli on the gound in St Annes Park! Maybe there? I presume you'd have to talk to the City council though for them both well in advance to get permission! You could talk to any of the football clubs or the cricket / Rugby club up on castle avenue! Big GAA complex on the ...
