No problem on my computer Willo. Used my own link and the link on Jim's post, both opened ok and able to go to the "issue log" with ease.

Re: Airport Watch!

Had a look last night and it showed on my screen but I didn't try a print off then. But seeing the problems others are having I then tried and had no problems printing a copy.

Re: Support Erinagh Airfield

Well said Kitty, but I'm very saddened to hear that you have resigned as General Secretary AOPA Ireland as I'm sure the vast majority of people who read this are. I fully understand your family reasons, but any chance you could reconsider because Erinagh in particular and Irish aviation in general c...

Re: Castlebar

I never met Donal but obviously had heard of him. I knew he was deeply involved with the airfield although I wasn't sure in what capacity. May he rest in peace.
Sadly my few visits there were always mid-week, so no chance to meet any of the people involved with the flying.

Re: Carrickmore charity Fly-in Saturday 9th October 2010

John Parke is planning to fly G-CDIP to C'more on sat and has kindly offered me a seat to traval with him.
Do you have a weather report for the area for sat as it looks like the E wind at 19kts could be problematic.

Regards,
Hugo.

Re: Irish Helicopters Ltd. : Fleet colours.

This photo was up before and I mentioned then that it was taken at the Rosepenna Hotel Downings Co Donegal. Probably late summer 1970. I enlarged the photo and it looks to me that all the lettering and markings are dark green in colour, which would make sense. Why would Irish Helicopters use two dif...

Re: Strange Goings On

Agreed. It's idiots like those two that give genuine spotters a bad name. It also makes aircraft and strip owners very weary of any strangers looking around. In my experience of over 40 years +, the vast majority of owners are happy to allow spotters access to their property when asked. Hopefully th...

Re: AOPA IRELAND

I fully agree with those sentiments. We could not have better people looking after our aviation interests in Ireland. I know from experience because I have been dealing with them over the last year and a more dedicated, helpfull bunch of people you could not wish to meet. Dont take my word for it, g...

Hi Hayden,

I have tried twice to send replies to your PM to me, but for some reason they went missing. I have some ground photos I took in 1997 and 2000, if you send me your mail address via the link below I will post them to you.
