trip list

Hi FP,
Ya, a trip and a half, but worth every mile. The main thing that struck us
was how friendly everyone was. Even those who refused us entry did so in a plesent way. If I can be of any help in any please ask.
Hugo.

Hi Mark,
I assume you have been monitoring the helicopter near Coonagh posting's.
As you will have seen, I have comprehensive listing of all aircraft noted on
on the trip myself and a friend made recently. I was wondering on what section of the forum I should place the list :?:

Hugo.

Private helicopter near Coonagh

On my way into Coonagh on Tues the 3rd Aug, I noted a helicopter at the Radison SAS hotel. It was N222W a Bell 222A. I assume it was at a different site that you noted the other heli's. If it was a different site I would be very interested in it's location.

Hugo.

Gulfstream at Mallow racecourse

If my failing memory serves me right, I believe the tarmacadam runway was laid and paid for by the insurance company involved only for that take-off. I believe they wanted it lifted when the Gulfstream departed. It's possible that the racecourse owners were'nt interested in keeping it anyway, or els...

Airband Radio

Hi Glenn, There used to be a small radio shop in Caple Street, on the right just before the quays, heading towards the river. For 100 euro, your only chance would be a second hand set. At any rate I would advise you to go for a digital scanner as any other type would not be worth buying. The frequan...

Hi Taj, As you can see I live in Donegal. Not exactly next door to Eason's or any other bookshop that is likely to sell the mag. Because of that could you please give a brief rundown as to the content. Will it for instance, have an Irish aircraft register review and will it cover all aspects of avia...
