Of course you do the licenses one at a time, it would be pretty hard to do an atpl subject and fly a multi engine plane while doing your ppl groundschool.

Saying that we are mixing the multi and cpl a bit as to get the required hours before the flight tests.

PTC, ONLY do all there licences seperatly. They are a Modular flight school and do not provide the same Intergrated airline pilot training

You can always do a degree part time once you're in the airlines!

Make sure its a JAA PPL you do if you do go to florida as a FAA PPL can not be used on Irish reg aircraft here in ireland.

With a PPL you can't share the cost of the flight in Ireland I'm afraid

According to the Human performance atpl book, anyone with healthy eardrums should feel some bit of motion sickness. we're not wired for the movements of a/c. I'm half way through the airline pilot course and still feel a bit "off" sometimes Its all good

well i aint PTCs biggest fan and still think its an insane statement.

Was just wondering when an airline says 3 or 5 years to Captain is time as a 2nd (while the atpls are being unfrozen) and 1st officer or just a 1st officer?

im ovefr in florida with the ptc at the mo doing the ppl and got my loan with the aib in waterford and had to have a house as security - well i used my folks house which is ok once they agree. you need life assurance too which is about 23e a month
