Medical Payment Question

Hi everyone, would really appreciate if anyone knew when you are paying for your medical here in Dublin who are you paying the Aeromedical center or the IAA. I'm a bit confused :roll:

Just if any people were wondering, I rang Sigmar and they have ceased the atpl distance course and I was told that Sigmar had recently merged with Bristol Aviation. They also have no plans of bringing back in the course either.

Hi Keith thanks for the reply, I'll ring Sigmar in the morning so if that's the case, that will be a bit disappointing. Its very hard to find a bad word said about Bristol and I've heard there notes and manuals are top notch also. I think I will give NFC a ring also.

I happy to say I am now in a position to study for my ATPL'S and am leaning towards distance because of cost etc. I have narrowed it down to Sigmar Aviation course which essentially is Bristol G.S using all there material etc and you get to sit the exams here in Dublin which again is cutting down on...

Thanks buzz. I think the generally advantage seems to be its a lot quicker to do training abroad as opposed to Ireland. Your idea of going into a bar sounds about right for me I'm afraid, thanks for the tip :wink: .
