I think the IAA themselves don't know what to do re: Microlight licensing. I was at a seminar earlier this year where licensing was discussed and was told by the IAA official "You cannot learn to fly a microlight in 25 hours" ... may be true.... but the minimum requirement is the underlyin...

Indeed it is Davy, it is a relatively new strip and it will hopefully become a well known one... hangarage will be built on site. No1 & #3 are both in Donegal... No1 is Carnone and No3 is Drumavish. They are in close proximity to each other and used quite a lot by microlighters up in this part o...

A few clues:

1 & 3 are in close proximity to each other & are well established and used strips in the north of the country.


#4 is a new strip, close to the border, won't say which side.

If no correct answers by Sunday then I will name them.

#4 is a lot longer than it looks in that photograph.... look at it relation to the cars...
Another clue is that it is 600 metres + !!!
A very nice strip it is too...... but where is it ? :?:

2 & 5 is Correct Lads....
Nicholsons in Kilkeel is a beautiful strip.... Suppose anywhere where a plane can be landed is lovely :lol:

Any idea about the other 3 strips ?
#4 should be pretty easy, I have not cropped out the detail so it should be easier to identify.

2008 Event Calendar now on-line

I have just put live the 2008 event calendar on www.IrishFlyin.Com with a few known events put on there. If anyone knows of events then get in touch via the website.
Island hop 2008 is also established and on-line registration is active.

If I click the "Home Page" on the top left of this page I get a holding page from the whois register site!?????
It was working earlier this morning..... try refreshing the homepage to see what happens...... strange !
