i see a transceiver for sale in one of the other forums, may be something to think about for the future, thats ICOM aswell Flyer as you say you cant really go wrong with I-COM

i phoned the iaa in february 2006 enquiring about the current map and they told me they will post me some maps because the new one will be out soon, (11 months ago) so i got a laminated and non laminated one from the iaa for FREE, i thought i would be scr**** up the wall for a map.

Nearly everyones first experience in a light aircraft is somewhat uncomfortable, its new surroundings and it takes some time to take it all in. In my opinion "introductary flights" scare people away from flying. 20 mins flying time isnt enough to discover the possible carreer aspect of fly...

I also have asmath, i did not need an X-ray, my medical was signed and stamped the day i got examined!
