New airport in Lusk

HUNDREDS of acres west of Lusk have been earmarked for a new E1.5b airport runway and local terminal to service Dublin Airport. The runway project has gathered momentum in the past two weeks after approximately 10 landowners were approached and asked if they would sell to those behind the project. T...

Runway 10 is nothing compared to Runway 16, the aircraft nearly skim your head on 16.

Spotting on 28 has gone down the drain though now that they've made that spotting place into a slip road.

Nah it was better than this "dross".

Right whatever my friend, building a new airport will not happen in the next ten years. We need that second runway now.

I lived in portmarnock for 6 months with relations, and while I would accuse them of being a lot of things, posh, stuck up arseholes is certainly not one of them.

Objection to EIDW 28R

Personally this pisses me off. The residents of Portmarnock and their campaign to keep Dublin Airport in the stone age. And there solution is typical of a posh stuck up arsehole "put it somewhere else". They want to make another airport in Dublin, yes a good idea but thats not going to sol...

Go around at Dublin today....

Anybody listening to ATC or see that Lufthansa A321 do a go around at around 5:15.
I'd say it was over the malahide road when it turned off towards Swords then back out onto the Irish sea. I was on the bus so didnt see it come back in for the second time.

Wonder why it did that?
