Re: Aerobatics lesson

I dont think it is Dave Bruton that is actually doing the instruction. The September or October issue said there was another instructor setting up with Dave. I've just been saving a bit of money up so I can get a few aeros lessons, I've been waiting for something like this for ages so Im gonna try d...

I too was at the airshow on Sunday. What a perfect day they had for it! My personal favourites had to be the Blades and the Air Corps EC-135. I was unimpressed by the PC-9s and to be honest....think they were a real disappointment. They've had those aircraft for 4 years now and theres still no sign ...

air corp airshows

Maybe if people start making noise to their local politicians etc, we could get something going, maybe get Matt Cooper or Jerry Ryan or someone to try get a bit of noise made? Every other country has a display team and we should be the same instead of moaning about what the Air Corp don't do. The PC...

airvan

Oh, I knew they had a demo Airvan in a while back but didn't realise they had got one permantly. That's great must pop in and have a look at the weekend. Is it handy to get in there at the weekend when they are skydiving? I'd love to see it, I missed it when they had the demo in. Are they still look...

Airshows & Air Corps

Hey anybody else think we should see more of the Air Corp doing airshows, it would be great if they had a display team that did displays once a month or so around Ireland.

Glad to hear nobody was hurt in either accident at the weekend? Hope the IPC are back to normal soon. They still have a 182 don't they?

Flying the Extra

Alpha Laura Just wondering how did you get to fly a few extras, there's not many of them here and I wouldn't have thought too many people would be willing to lend their Extra to basically a Student!!!! Do you mean you went for a flip in them in somewhere like the states or the UK at one of the money...

Punching in numbers

I wasn't trying to disrespect any pilot of any airlines and I know many of them who fly light aircraft on there time off, because it's fun. That was the point i was trying to make to sexypilot18, if you want to fly because you love flying and want to have some fun and get some experience that you wo...

AIR CORPS

Go for it girl, turn back time and i'd do it myself. Why not apply, once you don't mind the army training you have to do first and the flying standards are extremely high in the air corps but it is a great job and when you finish you'll walk into any flying job. Alot of people like flyer1 put down t...
