Im still here Maurice trying to come up with a solution, the closest i have got is a Permit to fly just like Stovepipe mentioned. I also found some exemptions according to the CAA regulations, just trying to find an IAA equivalent...

saw the ad in this months magazine...was exactly what i have applyed for in England...waterford would be much closer to home.......yet much more expensive !!! have u thought about doing a university course with pilot training intergrated into it, couple of these in th UK. im your age and have applyed for Air transsport with commercial pilot training,you get the best of both.....a degree and license

I had an inrto lesson with them,had a spanish instructor,nice man but hard to understand at times
1st lesson was cancelled due to weather,it took 3 months to get another one on a saturday :cry:

im just after checking out www.careerdirections.ie and they say that european flight schools require you to have 60 -200 hours flying experience to enter . Can anyone tell me if this is the same in the USA or Canada.thanks a million
