Re: Visiting Ireland

I know it is not Kerry but Bantry (EIBN) in South West Cork is as good as it gets with the wonderful hospitality of Denis Connolly - airfield manager. You'll find Denis on Facebook. Plenty of amazing scenary, good food / drink and craic await you. Many hotels and guest houses nearby. Enjoy the trip.

Re: Hayden Lawford RIP

I had a text and call from Michael Traynor this afternoon advising me of Hayden's untimely passing. All the old hands at Coonagh are in shock at this very sad news. Our CFI Brendan Beegan and another founding member of Limerick Flying Club (Foncy Hobbins) were both taught to fly by Hayden. I had my ...

Re: Support Erinagh Airfield

Said local Labour TD is now Minister of State at the Dept of Transport. I had written to him in support of Erinagh when all of this started and like Fanstop I never got a reply either. :(

Re: Abbeyshrule Airshow & Fly-in

On a positive note I'd like to say thank you to all the ground crew, organisers and display pilots who put on a great day at EIAB. You even managed the weather. My favorite display was the formation routine with HUM and Eddie G. I had not seen it before - well done guys. Sadly there was a disappoint...
