compared to the show in 2005 it was a bit of a disapointment...no jets, no smoke kitted aircraft, alot of delays. was it the summer festival people who did the organising?...what would it have been like without the air cor??

The whole thing is a bloody shame, the two chaps who put huge work into trying to buy the field, with locals,WCC, they even had the Red Arrows lined up for a display in Jun when they thought they had it secured for a offical opening.

C-152 Thats not true, King closed the Airfield in Aug 99 as he was grounded himself for health reasons. He had a planning permission issue with Ruddy(he never had permission to erect the hangar and offices) and it went to appeal and King won. If someone were to try and reinstate the Airfield status ...
