Same cost as the white book (In fact, cost's will continue to rise) and the IAA produce a smaller Licence for the pilot and paint it black. Thus reducing the IAA's carbon footprint ! The English Language Proficency is just another stepping stone so the IAA and other's alike can generate more revenue...

You can of course DonalMW. Nothing ilegal about the practice. In better times !!! I often rented (for the purpous of touring the country, sheer enjoyment of flying, hour building etc) a privatley owned C172 & SR22 that was based in Weston and also an R44. I have been unable to do much flying myself ...

Thanks for the replies and PM's.
I would prefer a private aircraft, ie, not a club aircraft where I have to pay additional membership fee's and instructor check out fee's.

I am looking for a single engine aeroplane to rent for the purpous of self fly hire.
Something cheap as possible. Less than €115 Hour WET !
