Spanish Point Fly-in 30th May

Aviation House Names
Supposing you wanted to name a house...... and you wanted the name to be clever and aviation related - what would you call it? It would be best if it was clever and sounded normal to the uninitiated but those 'in the know' would understand e.g. Three Greens. Names like 'Airport View' or 'The Hangar'...

Re: Spanish Point Fly In 1st/2nd Sept
Thankfully the weather has been kind to West Clare, which has allowed the field to dry out somewhat. Barring an unforecasted downpour, it looks like EISP will be active on Saturday and Sunday.
Looking forward to welcoming you all.

Re: Public or Private C of A Advantages and Disadvantages
While I am sure that StrikeCommand didn't mean it literally, the Certificate of Airworthiness still remains in vogue. For EASA aircraft, these are augmented by an Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC). The CofA, along with the ARC where applicable, form part of the 'Documents to be carried on board...

Re: PART M - M.A. 201 - Aircraft Airworthiness Responsibility
As an addendum: M.A.201 (c) states that 'Any person or organisation performing maintenance shall be responsible for the task performed. This includes pilot-owner maintenance, Part 66 Licenced Engineers, M.F. Organisations and Part 145 organisations. I understand that the Blue Skies' comment was made...

Re: PART M - M.A. 201 - Aircraft Airworthiness Responsibility
Hi Stovepipe, I think you may have inadvertantly confused a CAMO with a Maintenance Organisation. Per M.A.201(h) In the case of Commercial Air Transport, the operator must be approved as a CAMO for the aircraft it operates. The airline is the CAMO e.g. they decide what maintenance to do and when. Th...
