I don't know about suitable brace positions for a C172. But just for info, the brace position for a forward facing seat in an airliner with a chest restraint is sitting straight with feet and knees together, hands, palms up placed under the thighs and head bowed forward (chin to chest). Anglo-Irish Fly-in 2010

Hi All,

Open invitation to all for the Anglo-Irish Fly in Sat 28th and Sun 29th August. Kindly hosted by Trim Airfield this year.

Saturday will be the main day as our UK friends may be heading home on the Sunday.

Anglo-Irish Fly-in

The Anglo Irish Fly-in will be held at Trim Airfield on 28th and 29th August. Saturday 28th will be the main day as our UK friends will start to head home on the Sunday. All welcome. Look forward to seeing you there.

Definately take a couple of flights with an instructor to get your bearings and boost your confidence. It will all come flooding back. Your nervousness will keep you safe. Statisically the most risky flying hours are those between gaining a PPL and 100 hours due to lack of experience and over confid...
