as someone elated to earlier on , if we all joined the "what if brigade" we wouldnt get out of bed in the morning, personally id be less worried about a model light weight glider having an engine out than for example a garda heli or a light aircraft towing a banner having an engine out over croke pa...

well said camshaft. all around im glad to see the airshow went down well but i didnt go as i could see most of these aircraft and acts for free at any flyin/airshow during the season . people think with their pockets these days and once bitten twice shy.

just watched a very good display from today by midlands aviation on u tube , look closely at 2 min 13 sec, did something come off rhs of the aircraft ?

€3000 for fire cover ???? any civil defence unit from surrounding countys would supply 1 or 2 fire appliances and trained crew along with medics/emergency first responders/first aid crew, all for free, they might take a donation if ya push it on them. think outside of the box when organising these e...

hats off to ya lads, its a smashing publication, i cant imagine how long it must have taken to do the aerial surveys alone and the gallons of fuel burnt in the process ! lots of new landing sites for both light aircraft and microlight heads to explore , my head will be stuck in this book for a while...

possibly the same air corps 172 headed in the direction of limetree and then buzzed clonbullogue airfield for 30 mins yesterday evening , there keeping an eye on the busy airfields !
