Hi Cillian. I would recommend you attend college. Pick a decent course that is relevant and something that you will be interested in too so that you will complete it. If you have an Iphone there are lots of good Apps, I use Aero Weather as it gives the latest Metars and TAFs for Most airports around the world.

Therefore there would be no additional training required or an additional outlay when you got back to Ireland. We have different classes of Airspace and different VFR minima. RT is vastly different. Thanks for the reply guys but no offence I didn't ask for advice with the intention of starting an attack on Galway Airport. Has anyone any info on how much they charge for parking for 2/3 nights. How much it is for use of their airspace. Tips about flying around Galway around the time of the races ...
