Too many pilots in europe jobless at the moment,flight schools should be closed for a year or two rather then encourage more people to part with 100k.

Hi all,

I have finished my training now so have a ful set of the 15 Oxford manuals available. They are the 2007 transair Oxford edition. I am in the Meath area. There is also an oxford atpl exam prep CD included.

I dont know either of the organising parties, but i must say it sounds stupid as small as our country is that the two shows would compete! :( theres plenty of weekends in the summer.

i think under IAA its 4hours dual and 1 solo or similar..
but it really is pointless rating in ireland.you have to be inside a control zone...
i.e fly around shannons airspace for 5 hours!! :lol:

mcro are you asking if you take off from an uncontrolled field, and don’t make any radio contact until approaching Sligo are you forfeiting the alerting service covering the Hacktstown - Sligo Zone Sector??
