Hi Andy, to set yourself up as a sole trader(i.e self employed) its simple just phone the revenue and explain to them what your doing. I know of lots of people that have done it going from paye sector to self employed.if Shamrock heavy is corect in saying that brookfield wont pay you untill your set...

I also have bought a ticket for the raffle and was asking a friend of mine about running costs etc he reckoned it would be around 12000 euro per year. with the way things are at the moment there is no way i could fund the above figure if i won it, whats the going rate for a 2nd hand cessna these day...

Hi Micheal,

its about five years since i lived in SYD but as far as i can remember bankstown is where all GA was done.
its easy to get to and public transport is excellant you can buy one ticket that will do you for bus, boat, ferry and rail.

Hi all,

quick question when under going training in the USA you need to get a student visa has any one being down this road recently?.

I.E how long does it take the embassey to issue the visa and how many months is it valid for.

thanks for the reply i am thinking of allowing my self 4 weeks and i will have a few $ extra with me.

as for the weather i was thinking the days i cant fly i would do the exams/briefing, im a very time orientated person through my job
