Yes you are correct, Balla is a village about 10k south of Castlebar. When he left Castlebar he was heading south. I think this thread is complete! Ta.

Low flying over Castlebar

Did anyone notice the retractable flying at 200 to 300 ft over Castlebar today? Looked like a Piper Arrow or similar. Did some steep turns, very noisy..

We have the P2002JF, EI-DRO, in http://www.kilkennyflying-glidingclub.com and it has 580Kg all up. It ia a class A and we use it for PPL training. Two up half tanks will still get you over 3 hours in the air at 110kts.

Would this lack of damage not result from a low power setting rather than a high power setting?
