Swapping schools for winter
You can't chop and change between schools. You are with one or the other. Someone has to retain your files. You seem happy with your Instructors so my tuppence says stay where you are. Your grass strip will be dry in a few weeks anyway.

As the IAA has indeed availed of the derogation you may still exercise your FAA privileges until April 2015 (at least)

Dublin airport has heretofore been closed on Christmas Day so I doubt that he got permission to land. Incidentally, while the airport is itself closed the zone is still active so a plan must still be filed and other Class C rules still kept in compliance. Hi,
Is it possible to gain a PPL in a TMG from any flying establishment in Ireland, North or South.
Prefer not to have to do it in a normal fixed wing.
